Location Yorkshire and the Humber About The Job Job summary This position can be based at Leeds or York. The Team Area The Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire Team is probably one of the most varied and exciting teams within Natural England. Sweeping down from the uplands of the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors and the South Pennines it encompasses the urban and industrial areas of South and West Yorkshire and the agricultural lowlands of the East Riding before reaching the beautiful Yorkshire Coast, the Humber Estuary (one of the busiest ports in the country) and the sea beyond.

A Restoration Plan ‘Restoring the Yorkshire Derwent River Restoration Plan' (June 2010) was produced by the Environment Agency (EA) and Natural England, and was designed to restore the SSSI/SAC towards favourable condition.
