Senior Credit Risk Specialist – Contract Location: London (50% Hybrid Working) IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Security Clearance: SC Clearance Required We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Risk Specialist to support a major financial regulatory organisation on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have strong experience in UK Retail Banking and/or SME Banking credit risk, with particular expertise in Credit Asset Quality Reviews, Credit Risk Management Framework Reviews and credit portfolio risk management. Essential Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in UK Retail Banking and/or SME Banking Credit Risk.
• Proven experience conducting Credit Asset Quality Reviews.
• Strong understanding of Credit Risk Management Framework Reviews.
• Experience in credit portfolio risk management within a bank or financial regulator.
• Good understanding of retail credit risk models, including:
• IFRS 9
• Internal Ratings-Based (IRB) models
• Credit risk stress testing
• Application and behavioural scorecards
• Credit risk forecasting models
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities.
• Experience producing detailed risk assessment and review reports.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• SC security clearance required.
