Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

FP&A Director Location: London (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £140,000 + Bonus Sector: Business Services | Private Equity Backed DN16542 Finatal is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed business services group seeking an FP&A Director to support its next stage of expansion. Operating in a complex, multi-entity environment, the business has an ambitious value creation plan centred around organic growth, acquisitions, and operational improvement. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own the FP&A function, providing commercial insight, driving performance, and delivering the financial information required by the board and investors. This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership and private equity stakeholders. The Role

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across the group.
• Deliver board-quality reporting, KPI dashboards and performance analysis.
• Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability and support strategic decision-making.
• Own investor and lender reporting, providing clear insight into business performance and value creation initiatives.
• Support M&A activity, including financial modelling, business case evaluation and integration planning.
• Improve reporting capabilities, systems and data quality to enable scalable growth.
• Build and develop a high-performing FP&A team. Candidate Profile
• ACA qualified, ideally trained in a leading accountancy firm.
• Strong FP&A leadership experience within a private equity-backed, growth-focused environment.
• Background within business services, professional services, outsourced services, recruitment, testing/inspection, consultancy or related sectors.
• Excellent financial modelling and commercial analysis capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, including CFOs, boards and investors.
• Experience operating in an acquisitive business would be advantageous.
