Private Client Tax Senior

A well-known accounting firm in Hertfordshire is looking to expand on the back of their Private client tax team, now looking for a private client tax senior to join their collaborative team This is a great opportunity for someone who already has a solid grounding in personal tax and wants to develop their experience across a varied private client portfolio, with good exposure to more complex work and progression opportunities. The role You'll work closely with experienced Managers and Partners, looking after a portfolio of private clients and taking responsibility for a broad range of personal tax matters. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
• Advising HNW individuals, business owners and private clients
• Dealing with partnerships and more complex personal tax affairs
• Supporting on tax planning and advisory work
• Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional advice and services
• Supporting junior members of the team and reviewing work where appropriate
• Working alongside the wider tax and accounts teams What we're looking for:
• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong personal/private client tax experience
• Experience managing your own portfolio
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients
• ATT qualified or working towards qualification would be advantageous
• CTA qualification or progression towards CTA would be beneficial
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
