Legal Finance Assistant | Bath | £32,000 - £36,000 Are you an experienced Legal Finance Assistant looking to join a friendly, well-established law firm in the Bath area? We're working with a respected legal practice that is looking to add a Legal Finance Assistant to its finance team. This is a varied role offering responsibility across both client and office accounts, with the opportunity to become a key part of a supportive and collaborative business. What you'll be doing

• Processing client and office account transactions in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SARs)
• Managing daily banking activities and maintaining petty cash records
• Processing supplier payments and authorised invoices
• Recording and reconciling financial transactions accurately
• Completing bank reconciliations and supporting month-end reporting
• Assisting with VAT returns and year-end audit preparations
• Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and internal procedures
• Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks What we're looking for
• Previous experience working within legal finance or a similar professional services background
• Good understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SARs)
• Strong bank reconciliation and transactional accounting experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
• AAT qualification (or studying towards one) would be advantageous What's on offer
• Salary of £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
