Radio Frequency Engineer

We're working with a rapidly growing engineering organisation that delivers specialist, short-run programmes for clients who need something genuinely new. They're looking for an RF Engineer who wants to work at the leading edge of radio frequency, microwave and millimetre wave technology. The role You'll develop innovative concepts and solutions across a wide range of client requirements, often pushing the boundaries of what's currently possible. Programmes are short, so understanding what the customer needs is critical. You'll be comfortable talking to clients, proposing unique solutions, and explaining why they work, both in conversation and in clear technical reports. About you

• 5+ years' post-graduate experience, with a track record as a potential technical leader
• Experience in some or all of the following:
• Sensor design at RF, microwave and mmWave frequencies
• Software Defined Radio, including RF design and implementation
• Writing formal requirement and design documents
• Building prototype and pre-production equipment
• Planning and running trials to demonstrate performance
• Modern equipment techniques and controlled tear-down
• AI techniques for extracting information from RF sensors
• Modern and emerging communication technologies Practicalities
• Onsite role in South West England
• Salary up to £50k depending on experience
