Legal Counsel - Tech

We are hiring a Legal Counsel for a fast-growing energy tech business headquartered in London. Our client builds smart energy technology across software and hardware and operates across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia and South America. You will join a close-knit, high-calibre legal team, all with top UK and US firm backgrounds. The role offers broad international exposure, direct impact on the business and the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders. The role

• Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including wholesale and sales agreements
• Support on corporate advisory, governance, and M&A
• Review and advise on risk in supplier contracts and SaaS agreements
• Draft and negotiate NDAs
• Support and advise Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Customer Care teams
• Manage consultancy agreements and provide employment legal support
• Advise on privacy and data protection matters
• Manage external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
• Deliver company training and support compliance through policies and legal updates
• Assist with corporate matters including board and shareholder resolutions and company secretarial work We're looking for
• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 3-6 years' PQE
• Training at a US or City law firm, ideally in a commercial or corporate team
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• A proactive, hands-on self-starter who can work independently
• Confidence working across all levels of the business
• Organised, commercially focused and willing to pitch in and support colleagues
• A European language is a plus but not essential
