Questel, a global leader in intellectual-property software and services (patents and trademarks full life cycle management, translation), is accelerating its AI transformation.

The transformation you'll join:

The ambition is for AI to become a natural part of how every team at Questel works, and a real driver of value across the business.

To make that happen, the governance is structured around a few clear levers:

  • a small central AI team gives the direction, sets the standards and provides the shared tools;
  • a regular AI review prioritises and funds the projects with the highest business value across the group;
  • the business and delivery teams keep ownership: AI is built, scaled and adopted inside the teams, close to where the value is, rather than in a silo.

The AI Field Officers are the field arm of this transformation: the people who connect Questel's AI ambition to what actually happens in the business, and turn day-to-day needs into real, adopted AI value.

You are the bridge between the business and the group's AI setup, working two ways:

  • Make needs emerge and turn them into projects: go to the field, surface high-value AI opportunities, formalise them, build the business case, and present it to the central AI review for prioritisation and funding.
  • Deliver on the ground: build light prototypes, enable teams and drive adoption of the tools that get deployed.

Key responsibilities

  • Detect needs: go to the field with the business and support functions to understand daily frictions and AI opportunities.
  • Frame & business-case: formalise the need, estimate its business value, and present the business case to the central AI review for prioritisation and funding.
  • Measure value / ROI: value estimated upfront and measured after deployment; this is the most structuring part of the role.
  • Rapid prototyping and light in production tools: build light, user-friendly AI agents
  • Change management: support implementation: adoption, appropriation, and impact measurement.
  • Continuous enablement: upskill teams on AI tools, hands-on and anchored in their daily work.
  • Tooling watch & catalogue: maintain an up-to-date catalogue of AI tools, pre-approved by IT security, and proactively offer it to the business.
  • Knowledge capture: feed a shared library of prompts and reusable patterns across the group.

Profile we're looking for

A hybrid profile: technically credible on AI and able to build quick prototypes and with a consulting and change-management posture.

  • 5+ years of experience, with a blend of AI / consulting / change management.
  • Solid grasp of AI technologies (LLMs, AI agents) and the ability to build prototypes. You don't need to be a data scientist or a developer: what matters is being a confident, hands-on AI practitioner who can talk to both business leaders and technical teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a consultative posture to navigate a decentralised organisation and earn teams' trust.
  • Fluent English required (international environment).
  • Experience in corporate finance environments

Join Questel, a growing international group, and live a great human adventure! 🤝

Location: Paris or Sophia-Antipolis (hybrid)
