HCM Consultant (AMS)

Help customers get the most from their people technology.

We're looking for an HCM Consultant to join our AMS team, partnering with customers to optimize, enhance, and support their HR technology solutions.

This is a hands-on consulting role where you'll combine business process expertise with technology problem-solving. You'll work closely with customers to understand their needs, recommend solutions, configure enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and help them continuously improve their people operations.

Unlike traditional project-based consulting, AMS gives you the opportunity to build long-term client relationships, influence ongoing strategy, and see the real impact of your work over time.

What You'll Do

• Partner with customers to understand HR processes, business challenges, and priorities.
• Design, configure, and support solutions that improve efficiency, user experience, and business outcomes.
• Gather requirements, investigate issues, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements.
• Advise customers on process improvements and leading practices across the employee lifecycle.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and become a valued extension of their team.
• Collaborate with colleagues across functional and technical disciplines to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in HR technology, HRIS, HCM consulting, HR operations, or business process improvement.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and how technology supports them.
• Experience gathering requirements, solving business problems, and working directly with stakeholders.
• A hands-on approach with a passion for understanding how systems and processes work.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a customer-focused environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Workday or another HCM platform (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, Dayforce, etc.).
• Experience supporting system configurations, enhancements, testing, or implementations.
• Workday certification or exposure to Workday environments.
• Experience working in a consulting or customer-facing role.
