What you'll do

• Safeguarding all children within the establishment
• Assisting with mealtimes and preparation
• Monitoring children's wellbeing (ensuring any issues are reported within the staff book and passed on to the safeguarding officer)
• Liaise with parents and careers regarding feedback on children's daily activities
• Ensuring the nursery is well-maintained and tidy
• Assisting with toilet training

Training

• Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard
• Paediatric First Aid
• Functional skills in English and maths (if required)

After the apprenticeship

• The successful candidate can go onto further training, or into employment

• Desired: GCSE, English (grade 4)

• Apprenticeship level: Advanced (level 3)
• Training provider: FIRST RUNG LIMITED
• Expected duration: 1 Year 6 Months
• Hours: 35 hours a week. Working week: Monday - Friday, between 9.00am - 5.00pm.
• Start date: 30 November 2026
• Positions available: 1
• Wage: £14,560 a year
