Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship

This is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Apprentice to Taylor Electrical Solutions Accounts/Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience of a busy finance department while working towards a recognised accounting qualification.

What you'll do

What you'll do at work:

• Sage 50 Accounts
• Office 365
• Outlook emails
• Using Excel (document/spreadsheets)
• Word - Typing Quotes, etc.
• Answering calls, dealing with customers and suppliers by phone
• Using Sharepoint, etc.
• Scanning and Filing Documents Electronically

Training

• Accounts/Finance Assistant Level 2
• Functional Skills math's and English if required.

Your programme will be delivered face-to-face at PTP's Walsall Centre, with the following structure:

• Fortnightly workshops delivered face-to-face at Essex Terrace, Intown, Walsall, WS1 1SQ. During these sessions, new topics will be taught by your tutor.
• Between sessions, you'll complete self-study tasks in the workplace using online platforms, spread throughout the week.

After the apprenticeship

A full-time position may be offered to the successful candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Essential: GCSE, Any Subject (grade 5 and above)

Things to consider

• Candidates must hold GCSE Grade 5 or above in English and Mathematics, as well as a minimum Grade 5 in at least one other subject.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred.
