Recruitment Apprenticeship

Nexter is a specialist childcare recruitment agency with our head office based in Carr Mills, Birstall. We supply qualified temporary nursery staff to private day nurseries across West Yorkshire and South East London.

We are looking for an ambitious, confident, and motivated Apprentice Recruitment Resourcer to join our team.

What you'll do

• Candidate Sourcing: Learn how to search job boards, review CVs, and find qualified nursery practitioners and assistants looking for temporary work
• Telephone Screening & Vetting: Conduct telephone interviews, check work histories, and assist with essential safeguarding compliance (DBS checks, references)
• Nursery Outreach & Market Research: Contact private day nurseries across London to identify staffing needs, update contact details for managers, and introduce available staff for upcoming sickness cover
• Shift Booking Coordination: Learn how to take booking briefs from nurseries and quickly allocate available staff to fill emergency shifts
• CRM & Administration: Maintain neat, accurate candidate and client records on our recruitment software

Training

Training will be with Juniper Training.

After the apprenticeship

Clear progression: successful apprentices can step directly into a full Recruitment Consultant role with uncapped monthly commission.

• Course: Recruiter (level 3), Business and administration
• Apprenticeship level: Advanced (level 3)
• Training provider: JUNIPER TRAINING LIMITED
• Expected duration: 1 Year 5 Months
• Hours: 40 hours a week. Working week: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm (or 8.30am - 5.00pm).
• Start date: 21 October 2026
• Positions available: 1
• Wage: £16,640 a year
