Kickstart your career in hospitality with Esquires Coffee Oakham! As a team member apprentice, you'll master the craft of coffee making, deliver exceptional customer service and learn the essentials of running a vibrant cafe. What you'll do

• Welcoming customers

• Stock Rotation
• Cleanliness across the Café
• Prepare and serve speciality beverages

Training

The training will take place at Grantham College 1 day a week.

After the apprenticeship

Progression to senior barista role upon successful completion alongside opportunities to advance into shift supervisory positions.

Things to consider

Please note that this role does involve standing for long periods of time lifting stock. Also there will need to be flexibility for early starts and weekend working. You will also be required to travel both to the workplace and the college for training.

• Course: Food and beverage team member (level 2), Catering and hospitality
• Apprenticeship level: Intermediate (level 2)
• Training provider: GRANTHAM COLLEGE
• Expected duration: 1 Year
• Hours: 25 hours a week. Working week: Mixture of all days, including weekends. Shifts to be confirmed.
• Start date: 1 November 2026

• Wage: £10,400 a year
