Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Level 2 Early Years apprentice (or Level 3 for those with experience) at Twiggy's Day Nursery to support in providing the highest standards. Supporting planning, preparing and delivery of age appropriate and interesting activities to meet a child's individual needs. Start date flexible asap preferred.

What you'll do

• To plan, prepare and deliver interesting activities
• Work closely to build relationships with parents and guardians to update on progress and development
• Follow safeguarding and child protection policies
• Be confident in the use of technology
• Assist in setting up and closing down routines

Training

Level 2 Early Years Practitioner standard

• Support with English and maths if required
• Work-based learning
• End Point Assessment

After the apprenticeship

Twiggy's Day Nursery is located in the heart of the Donnington, Sutton Hill and Madeley communities and all offer a warm and welcoming setting for children aged from 3 months through to 5 years old. We will tailor support to suit your child's developing needs whilst providing the care and attention that young children require within a safe and secure homely setting. Sutton Hill and Madeley also offer After School and Holiday clubs up to the age of 11.

Parents know their children best and Twiggy's also learn from parents experiences of their children, which in turn helps to develop the child's physical, learning and emotional support plan.

The Early Years Foundation Stage and the seven areas of learning are key to the child's journey at the nursery and parents are kept well informed of their child's progress, enabling positive two way communication.

Twiggy's also offers funded places for eligible two year olds and funded hours for three to four year olds on a flexible basis.

Apprenticeship details

• Apprenticeship level: Intermediate (level 2)
• Training provider: JUNIPER TRAINING LIMITED
• Expected duration: 1 Year
• Hours: 30 hours a week. Working week: Monday - Friday working hours between 8.00am and 6.00pm (to be agreed in advance on a rota basis).
• Start date: 30 November 2026
• Positions available: 1
• Wage: £12,480 a year
