Director of Network Services

Director of Network Services Competitive salary and performance-related bonus | Hybrid working An established technology consultancy is seeking a commercially driven Director of Network Services to lead its next phase of growth. Reporting to the CEO and joining the executive leadership team, you will have responsibility for the strategy, financial performance and delivery of a substantial Network Services business. You will lead teams across the UK and India, develop long-term client relationships and shape a portfolio of consulting, engineering and managed services. This is an opportunity to combine strategic leadership with an entrepreneurial approach, building on established capabilities and developing new propositions. The opportunity The business supports enterprise clients with complex network and infrastructure challenges. Its expertise spans network engineering, automation and NetDevOps, infrastructure virtualisation, delivery assurance, enterprise data and managed networks. You will set the direction for the business, strengthen its market position and ensure that commercial growth is supported by excellent delivery and a motivated, well-developed team. Your responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a growth strategy, supported by clear commercial priorities and practical implementation plans.
• Shape compelling propositions and work with commercial leaders to drive sales, marketing and account development.
• Identify potential acquisitions and support their evaluation and business cases.
• Own the P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management and profitability.
• Oversee operations, ensuring high-quality delivery, continuous improvement and effective resolution of complex client challenges.
• Lead and develop teams across the UK and India, with a focus on engagement, career progression and succession planning.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and strengthen key account plans.
• Anticipate market trends and drive innovation across services and propositions.
• Contribute to wider company strategy as a member of the executive leadership team. About you You are an established business leader with deep knowledge of the Network Services market and experience within a consulting environment. You combine commercial judgement with strategic vision and know how to turn plans into measurable results. You will bring:
• A proven record of leading and growing a technology services business.
• Strong financial management skills and experience taking responsibility for business performance.
• An understanding of network consulting, engineering and managed services, alongside the competitive landscape.
• Experience building relationships with senior decision-makers in client organisations.
• A people-focused leadership style and excellent communication skills.
