• Significant growth opportunities. Your experience
• A proven customer-facing Managing Director/General Manager or equivalent.
• Commercial leadership experience in a B2B technical product environment (eg. materials testing equipment, scientific instrumentation, precision-engineered capital equipment etc,) supplying industrial customers.
• Ideally, experience of operating in an Organisation with a service offering.
• Degree qualified in an Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or other STEM discipline.
• Technical/Engineering competence.
• Proven experience of managing & developing a Management Team to continually raise competence and aspirations across the business.
• Strong commercial awareness and, preferably, international experience. Your Style and Skills

• Confident and keen to take personal responsibility for leading and growing the business consistently and profitably.
• Intellectually strong and able to distil complex problems into simple solutions - but yet pragmatic, determined and practical enough to ensure that the resulting actions are enacted and delivered with pace.
• Financially literate and astute – and able to identify and manage the changing balance between control and investment as necessary.
• Inclusive, open and fair, but with a determination that you and your team deliver to your commitments.
