Head of Product Development - Jewellery Create Recruitment Specialists is partnering with a globally recognised accessible luxury jewellery brand to recruit an experienced Head of Product Development. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, commercially minded and hands-on product development leader to drive an ambitious product pipeline, lead a talented team and bring creative concepts to life. Working at the intersection of design, technical development and commercial strategy, you will oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring products are delivered to exceptional standards of quality, sustainability and cost while meeting critical launch deadlines. You will lead, mentor and develop a team of Product Developers, overseeing product development from initial design brief through to launch across luxury jewellery and lifestyle categories, including precious metals, gemstones, pearls, diamonds, leather and packaging. You will translate creative concepts into technical specifications, manage critical paths and collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, Operations and other key stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of collections. A key part of the role will involve building strong international supplier relationships, leading negotiations and driving improvements in quality, cost and lead times. You will also identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and introduce innovative development tools, while monitoring supplier performance, managing commercial risks and providing clear updates to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a senior product development leadership role within luxury jewellery, accessories or a closely related product category. You will bring strong technical knowledge of product construction, materials, manufacturing processes and quality standards, alongside experience managing teams, international suppliers and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Commercially astute, highly organised and solutions-focused, you will be confident influencing stakeholders at all levels and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. A passion for innovation, responsible sourcing and exceptional product quality is essential. Location: East of England, with hybrid working and access to a London office. The role requires a minimum of two days per week in the regional office, alongside international supplier travel approximately two to three times per year. Please get in touch directly or send your CV to Create Recruitment Specialists for a confidential discussion.
