Application Support Specialist

Hiring: Software Engineer- Unisys UFSS Location: Manchester, UK Contract: 12 Months Interview: Panel available 13th, 14th & 15th October Ideal Candidate:

• 7+ years of experience in Banking Technology
• 3+ years of hands-on Unisys UFSS engineering/specialist support
• Strong Mortgage Servicing domain expertise
• Experience across both Run & Change environments Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain solutions on the Unisys UFSS platform
• Perform technical design, impact assessment, development, testing and production implementation
• Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting and RCA
• Develop and maintain integrations with banking systems and downstream applications
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, Mortgage SMEs and Architecture teams
• Ensure compliance with banking, regulatory, security and resilience requirements Essential Skills:
• Hands-on Unisys UFSS (Unisys Financial Services Solution)
• Strong mortgage servicing platform/process knowledge
• Unisys EAE/LINC and/or AB Suite
• Banking software engineering & application support
• Batch processing, interfaces, integrations & data analysis
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting & production support
• SDLC, release management & testing
• Experience in regulated financial services Desirable:
• Mortgage platform modernisation / core banking transformation
• Cloud: GCP, Azure or AWS
• API, messaging or Kafka
• SQL & data migration
