Security Operations Manager

Security Operations Team Manager – Permanent – Edinburgh - £95k plus benefits Change Digital are recruiting on behalf of our highly regarded client based in Edinburgh for a Security Operations Manager to lead a high-performing cyber security team responsible for security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement of security operations. This is a key leadership role, combining people management, technical expertise, and strategic planning. You will lead major cyber incident responses, drive threat-informed defence initiatives, oversee SIEM, EDR and SOAR capabilities, and help shape the future Security Operations roadmap, including the organisation's approach to AI-related threats. Key Requirements

• Proven experience leading Security Operations, Detection & Response, or Incident Response teams.
• Strong background in managing major cyber security incidents and coordinating technical and business stakeholders.
• Practical experience with threat hunting, threat intelligence, security monitoring, and incident management.
• Hands-on knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR and security telemetry analysis.
• Understanding of cloud, network, endpoint and identity security.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within a large or regulated environment is desirable. What's on Offer
