Head of Partnerships
NorthreachNorthreach is a dynamic recruitment agency that connects businesses with top talent in financial services, fintech, and digital sectors. We specialize in providing a seamless recruitment experience for clients and candidates, fostering innovation and professional growth. Northreach is partnering with a growing fintech to recruit a Head of Strategic Partnerships. This is an opportunity for someone with a consulting background and commercial experience in B2B sales or partnerships to take ownership of a growing partner network, develop new routes to market and lead strategic initiatives across the business. You'll combine structured thinking with hands-on commercial execution: building relationships, turning partner opportunities into new business and bringing teams together to launch new propositions. The role
- Manage and develop existing partnerships, helping partners introduce and convert new business opportunities.
- Identify, approach and establish relationships with new partners.
- Build plans for each partnership, identifying opportunities for growth and removing barriers to progress.
- Work with the sales team to move opportunities from partner introduction through to conversion.
- Lead strategic initiatives from initial scoping through to launch, coordinating workstreams across Marketing, Sales, Product and Compliance.
- Translate new ideas into practical delivery plans, with clear responsibilities, milestones and measures of success.
- Use commercial insight and partner feedback to inform proposition development and business priorities. What we're looking for
- A background in consulting, with experience structuring problems, making recommendations and driving delivery.
- Commercial experience in a B2B sales, business development or partnerships environment.
- Experience helping a business win customers through partner relationships.
- The confidence to develop new relationships and hold commercially focused conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and maintain momentum across competing priorities.
- A practical, proactive approach and the ability to operate effectively in a growing business.
- Experience in fintech, financial services or B2B technology would be valuable. Why consider this opportunity? You'll have broad ownership across partnerships and strategic delivery, with the opportunity to influence how the business reaches new customers and brings new ideas to market. The role offers scope to make a visible commercial impact while working closely with senior leadership and teams across the business. If you bring consulting experience alongside a track record in commercial partnerships, we'd like to hear from you. Apply with your CV or contact James Prentice at Northreach for a confidential conversation.
