Azure AI Lead Architect | Copilot Studio | Microsoft Foundry | Azure AI | Agentic AI | RAG | MCP | Up to £100,000 | Hybrid London We're working with an Azure Expert MSP and Microsoft Partner of the Year winner as they invest in building an internal AI capability to accelerate the adoption of AI across the business. They're looking for a hands-on Lead Architect who can turn high-value business problems into secure, scalable AI solutions using Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry and the wider Azure AI ecosystem. This isn't a purely strategic architecture role. You'll be responsible for designing and building AI applications, agents and automations, while providing technical direction to a small team of AI Engineers. You'll need strong commercial experience across technologies such as:

• Copilot Studio
• Microsoft Foundry
• Azure AI Search
• RAG and agentic workflows
• Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Power Platform
• Python, C# or TypeScript
• Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions You'll own the end-to-end architecture of the AI estate, including security, governance, environment strategy, observability, cost management and the DevOps processes needed to take solutions into production. Working closely with the CTO, CIO and senior business leaders, you'll run discovery sessions, assess potential use cases and translate business challenges into practical AI solutions with clear measures of success. Beyond delivery, you'll help establish the standards, templates and reusable components that allow the wider business to build with AI safely—providing a clear route from citizen-developed prototypes through to governed, supported solutions. We're looking for someone who has genuinely delivered AI solutions into production, rather than solely working on POCs, and who is comfortable combining architecture, hands-on engineering and technical leadership.
