Commercial Sales Manager - Flat Roofing Location: M4 corridor (Reading, Newbury, Swindon) Compensation: £55,000 to £60,000 basic + car allowance + uncapped commission linked to profit = OTE around £80,000. An established commercial flat roofing contractor is looking for a senior commercial sales lead to drive the next phase of its growth. This is a ground floor role with a genuine route to Sales Director, building your own team as the commercial side grows. The business

• A clear growth plan, with commercial as the engine: from around £2M towards £5M, and £20M long term The role
• Own and grow the commercial flat roofing side of the business across the M4 corridor and Home Counties
• Win new business with main contractors, property owners, managing agents, consultants and specifiers
• Take opportunities from first enquiry through survey, quotation and negotiation to handover and delivery
• Build relationships from site manager to director level
• Work closely with estimating and operations so every job is profitable and delivered well
• Run a disciplined pipeline and forecast
• Represent the business at site visits, client meetings and industry events
• Over time, take full ownership of the department and build a team beneath you About you
• At least 3 years selling commercial roofing, waterproofing or building envelope work, with project wins you can point to
• A strong understanding of flat roofing systems such as single ply, liquid applied, built-up felt and hot melt, plus warranties, guarantees and accreditations
• You might come from a roofing or waterproofing contractor, a roofing system manufacturer, or a technical or specification sales role
• Value-led rather than price-led, with a long-term view of client relationships
• Organised and process-driven, and comfortable working on your own initiative
• Based within easy reach of Reading, Newbury or Swindon
• Ambitious to move into senior commercial leadership What's on offer
