Sales Executive

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Durham. The Sales Executive will greet and engage customers, identify their needs, and guide them through the selection of suitable vehicles. Responsibilities include presenting vehicle features and benefits, arranging test drives, negotiating pricing within agreed guidelines, and closing sales in a professional and transparent manner. The role also involves managing enquiries via phone, email, and in person, maintaining accurate records in the sales system, and following up with potential and existing customers to build long-term relationships. The Sales Executive will collaborate with colleagues to ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard and that the showroom environment supports a positive buying experience. Qualifications

• Proven customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build rapport and understand customer needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and confident face-to-face interaction.
• Basic administrative and IT skills, including maintaining accurate records and using sales or CRM systems.
• Solid negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on transparent, ethical selling practices.
• Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of vehicles and the used car market, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on-site, including weekends and peak business hours as required.
• Valid UK driving licence and no more that a maximum of 6 penalty points.
