About the job

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Delegated Authority Claims team, part of our business at Marsh. This role will be based in Norwich. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This role supports the management and administration of Coverholder losses and plays an important part in delivering a high-quality service to clients and markets. You'll join a dedicated Delegated Authority Claims team supporting over 200 Delegated Authorities and Lineslips across Specialty Practices working alongside experienced colleagues in a collaborative environment where governance, placement, premiums and claims are all part of the day-to-day. A key responsibility will be to manage a varied workload with opportunities to broaden your knowledge across related areas of the team and contribute to a culture of teamwork, continuous learning and strong client service. We will count on you to:

  • Work closely with Coverholders and DCAs to ensure effective oversight of claims matters.
  • Case manage claims and help bring complex or contentious issues to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Monitor credit control activity and liaise with the Accounts team as required.
  • Use ECF, CLASS, and IMR to notify insurers of first notice of loss (FNOL), provide claim updates, and collect loss and fee payments from insurers.
  • Review and submit bordereau reports, complete account reconciliations, and manage urgent cash call collections.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients and market participants while meeting agreed SLA, accuracy and service standards.
  • Stay current on regulatory and Lloyd's changes affecting the Delegated Authority market. What you need to have:
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical, conscientious approach.
  • A team-focused attitude and a willingness to support colleagues.
  • Confidence working with technical information and resolving complex queries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good numeracy skills and solid MS Excel capability.
  • A positive approach to change and continuous improvement.
  • undefined What makes you stand out?
  • Experience of Delegated Authorities, either with an insurer or broker.
  • Previous claims handling or insurance experience.
  • CII qualifications, or a willingness to work toward them.
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career in the insurance industry. Why join our team:
  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being. Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person. R362712
