Exhibitor Sales and Event Manager
at WoodhouseHelp shape something new with Woodhouse Flexible, seasonal freelance opportunity | UK-wide | 2027 Remote working between events, with mandatory on-site attendance at Pavilion events, including weekends. We're developing a fresh approach to shopping at country and equestrian events, and we're looking for the right person to help bring it to life. The Woodhouse Lifestyle Pavilion is our vision for a boutique shopping quarter, bringing together distinctive independent country, equestrian and lifestyle brands in a setting full of character and atmosphere, where visitors can explore, discover something new and spend time. With a programme of leading national events already lined up for 2027, this is a new commercial venture backed by Woodhouse's established experience and reputation in the events industry. We're looking for an experienced freelance partner to play a central role in its launch, helping shape the exhibitor mix and taking ownership of exhibitor recruitment, sales, relationships and management at each event. The Opportunity Working alongside the Woodhouse team, you would:
- Contribute ideas to the Pavilion's concept, retail spaces and overall exhibitor experience.
- Identify and approach suitable brands, curating a distinctive and complementary mix of exhibitors.
- Generate leads, follow up enquiries and secure bookings.
- Manage exhibitor communications, requirements and preparations ahead of each Pavilion event.
- Coordinate with Woodhouse and the event organisers on practical arrangements for exhibitors.
- Be the main contact for exhibitors on site, providing a professional, friendly experience and responding to queries or problems as they arise, coordinating solutions with Woodhouse and the event organisers.
- Gather feedback, secure repeat bookings and identify opportunities to develop the Pavilion for future events. Woodhouse will lead the Pavilion's design, manufacture and installation, with your input helping shape the concept, retail spaces and overall exhibitor experience. Who we're looking for You'll have experience in exhibitor sales, trade stand management, brand partnerships or a similar commercial event role. Experience in country, equestrian, agricultural or lifestyle events would be valuable, but we're equally interested in people with relevant experience in retail exhibitions and other consumer events. Existing relationships with relevant brands would be a real advantage. You'll also need strong organisational skills, commercial judgement and the confidence to take initiative and follow things through. The arrangement This is a flexible, seasonal freelance opportunity that combines remote work with on-site attendance at events featuring the Woodhouse Lifestyle Pavilion. The time commitment will be agreed with the successful candidate as the Pavilion's 2027 event schedule develops, with flexibility to arrange much of the work around existing commitments. You will need sufficient availability to deliver agreed outcomes and meet deadlines, particularly in the lead-up to events. These periods will be more intensive, and on-site attendance throughout each Pavilion event, including weekends, will be required. Event days will involve longer working hours. The scope and commercial package will be agreed with the successful candidate. We're open to discussing a project fee covering preparation and on-site attendance, alongside commission on exhibitor bookings. Interested, or know someone who could be a good fit? Please apply through LinkedIn, including a short introduction and details of your relevant experience. Recommendations and introductions are very welcome.
