Buyer / Planner x 2 | Strategic Buyer Salary: £40,000–£55,000 depending on role and experience Location: Marden, Kent Hours: 35 hours per week, with flexible working hours Employment Type: Two Temp-to-Perm Opportunities and One Permanent Position We are recruiting for three exciting purchasing opportunities with an established specialist vehicle manufacturer based in Marden, Kent. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to join an engineering and manufacturing environment, supporting purchasing operations, production planning and strategic supplier management. We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in engineering, manufacturing, automotive or specialist vehicle industries. Experience using SAP would be advantageous. The Opportunities Buyer / Planner – 2 Positions These are six-month temp-to-perm opportunities, ideal for candidates with a background in purchasing, materials planning or production planning. Responsibilities may include:

• Raising and managing purchase orders.
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Monitoring stock levels and material availability.
• Supporting production planning and maintaining continuity of supply.
• Managing supplier relationships and resolving delivery issues.
• Using ERP/MRP systems to support purchasing and planning activities. Strategic Buyer – 1 Position This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Buyer with a strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier management. Responsibilities may include:
• Developing and managing supplier relationships.
• Negotiating pricing, contracts and commercial terms.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving purchasing performance.
• Managing sourcing activities and supplier selection.
• Monitoring supplier quality, delivery and performance.
• Working closely with internal teams to support business and production requirements. About You We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:
• Previous purchasing, buying, planning or procurement experience.
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, automotive or a related industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage priorities and work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• SAP experience, ideally, although experience with other ERP/MRP systems may also be relevant. What's on Offer?
• Excellent rates of pay, with salaries between £40,000 and £55,000 depending on the position and experience.
