About The Role The Lead Business Data Analyst is a vital position within the Data Lynx delivery team at Boots. This full-time, on-site role involves leading complex data initiatives that influence strategic decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for driving the business analysis approach, translating business needs into technical requirements, and ensuring that data products deliver measurable value. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and technology teams, you will facilitate workshops, conduct data profiling, and support agile planning processes. Your expertise will help shape data-driven strategies that improve customer and patient experiences, support product development, and optimize business operations. Qualifications

• Significant experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and data analysis within complex environments
• Proven track record of leading analysis activities and mentoring other analysts
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interrogate complex datasets
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and analytics platforms
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Knowledge of data profiling, root-cause analysis, and data quality assessment
• Experience supporting Agile methodologies and program planning Responsibilities
• Lead business and data analysis across complex initiatives, from discovery through to delivery and benefits realization
• Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data specifications
• Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to Business Data Analysts, fostering best practices
• Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions involving business, data, and technology teams
• Conduct data profiling and root-cause analysis to assess data structure, quality, and integrity
• Use insights and evidence to challenge assumptions and recommend practical, data-driven solutions
• Support Program Increment planning and Agile Release Train ceremonies
