SLC Compliance Officer

Location: Holborn, London Overall Purpose The Compliance Officer leads on compliance oversight of domestic/home student recruitment, including admissions controls, external agents and partner activity. The role ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, protects student interests and supports sustainable growth. Role Focus Compliance ownership of domestic student recruitment, admissions controls and agent/partner oversight within higher education, focusing on consumer protection and fair student outcomes. Experience Minimum 10 years in compliance, audit, legal or quality assurance roles within UK regulated environments with strong exposure to audit. • Own and maintain the compliance framework for domestic admissions and partner/agent activity.
• Develop and implement policies, controls and monitoring aligned to regulatory expectations.
• Deliver risk-based monitoring and audit programs.
• Ensure recruitment practices meet consumer protection requirements.
• Support regulatory reviews, audits and investigations.
• Provide reporting to senior leadership.
