Cyber Security Consultant (Strategy, Engagement and Risk) Join this award-winning consultancy and help UK government and public sector organisations shape how they protect themselves, from setting Cyber Security strategy to advising senior leaders on where risk really sits. It's a consulting role with real breadth, in a growing specialist firm where you'll also help shape the business itself.

• Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 base, plus discretionary bonus
• Location: hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week in the London or Cheltenham office or on client site
• Clearance: SC or above, or eligible and willing to be cleared What you'll actually do
• Support the development and rollout of Cyber Security strategies, capabilities and operating models for public sector and government clients
• Run risk and maturity assessments, then advise on a risk-based plan, setting out the mitigations and controls and how much risk each one reduces
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a critical friend as well as an adviser
• Write and present reports for a range of audiences, including C-suite, turning technical detail into business language
• Implement security controls, drawing on your understanding of how they interact with IT service delivery What you'll need Essential
• Industry experience working on a team delivering strategic Cyber Security projects
• Working knowledge of frameworks and standards such as NIST, the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and ISO 27001
• Clear written and verbal communication, including with senior stakeholders
