Senior FF&E Designer

We're working with an exceptional luxury interior design studio to find a talented Senior FF&E Designer to join its highly creative and collaborative interiors team. With an impressive portfolio of international projects, the studio takes a genuinely bespoke approach to design. The Opportunity You'll join a fantastically talented team, working under the direction of a personable, down-to-earth Head of Interiors who encourages collaboration while giving designers the trust and freedom to take ownership of their work. This is a role for someone who enjoys being involved, contributing ideas and taking responsibility. You'll have considerable autonomy across your projects, with the opportunity to influence the creative direction, develop thoughtful FF&E schemes and see your work progress from initial concepts through to final installation. With projects spanning the globe, the work offers plenty of variety, requiring an adaptable design approach, a strong understanding of materials and finishes, and the ability to respond to different clients, architectural contexts and design briefs. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of FF&E schemes across a range of high-end international interior design projects.
• Research, source and select furniture, fabrics, lighting, finishes, accessories and artwork in response to each project's brief.
• Develop creative concepts, colour palettes, material boards and detailed FF&E presentations.
• Work closely with interior designers and the wider project team to ensure FF&E integrates seamlessly with the overall design.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, showrooms, makers and specialist manufacturers.
• Develop bespoke furniture and collaborate on custom pieces where required.
• Prepare detailed FF&E specifications, schedules and documentation.
• Liaise with procurement teams, suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout delivery.
• Take ownership of your work, managing priorities and ensuring projects progress smoothly through to installation.
• Contribute ideas, share knowledge and support the development of other designers within the team. About You We're looking for an experienced FF&E Designer with a strong portfolio of high-end residential interiors and a genuine passion for creating individual, considered spaces. You'll combine excellent creative judgement with strong technical and organisational skills, and be confident taking ownership of your work while collaborating closely with the wider team. You'll ideally bring:
• Strong experience in FF&E design within luxury residential interiors.
• Impeccable taste levels and a thoughtful, well-developed design sensibility.
• Extensive knowledge of furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, accessories and suppliers.
• Confidence developing concepts and translating them into detailed, deliverable FF&E schemes.
• Experience taking projects through multiple stages, ideally through to procurement and installation.
• Strong presentation, specification and documentation skills.
• A proactive, adaptable approach and the confidence to work autonomously.
