Key Account Manager

Pharmaceutical Key Account Manager - Scotland C&C Life Science is partnering exclusively with a specialist pharmaceutical company focused on hospital medicines to recruit an experienced Key Account Manager to lead their secondary care business across Scotland. As Key Account Manager, you will own the Scotland territory, building strong relationships with hospital stakeholders and driving access and uptake of our client's portfolio. You will have the autonomy to shape your own account plans and will be a key point of contact for NHS Scotland customers. Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver strategic account plans for priority hospitals and health boards across Scotland
• Build relationships with consultants, specialist nurses, antimicrobial and pain teams, pharmacists and procurement leads
• Secure and maintain formulary access through Area Drug and Therapeutics Committees and local formulary processes
• Identify new business opportunities and grow sales against territory targets
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, medical and market access
• Operate fully in line with the ABPI Code of Practice About you
• Proven pharmaceutical sales experience in secondary care, ideally in a key account management role
• Strong understanding of NHS Scotland, including the SMC and ADTC processes
• Experience in anti-infectives, pain or another specialist hospital therapy area is highly desirable
• Commercially astute, with a track record of winning formulary listings and growing accounts
• Self-motivated, organised and able to manage multiple stakeholders independently
• ABPI qualified
