Head of Boarding and Teacher of Humanities

Salary: Competitive salary plus a Head of Boarding allowance Job type: Full Time, Permanent, Term Time Start date: January, April or September 2027 start date Apply by: 1 November 2026 We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive Head of Boarding and Teacher of Humanities to join our pastoral and teaching team. The Head of Boarding plays a crucial role in the daily lives of our vibrant and busy boarding and day School. The Head of Boarding will act “in loco parentis” for the boarders, providing the best possible experience of a boarding environment, creating a home from home. This role involves working closely with pupils, parents, and staff to ensure the smooth running of the boarding house. The Head of Boarding will be responsible for welfare and safety, as well as activities for all the boarding pupils in the House during the week and weekends. This is a residential role and a comfortable flat will be provided within the Boarding House. This is a key appointment for us, and therefore we will consider applications from candidates who are available to start in January 2027, April 2027, or September 2027.
