Founding Software Engineer – Agentic Systems We're building AI-powered technology for the climate, combining agentic systems with geospatial data to tackle problems with genuine real-world impact. We're looking for a high-agency software engineer who wants to get stuck into an early-stage startup, take ownership and learn whatever technology is needed to solve the problem. This isn't a prompt engineering role. You'll be building production-grade AI agents that can reason, use tools, execute tasks and operate reliably in real-world environments. What you'll do

• Build and ship agentic AI systems from the ground up
• Work across backend, AI, geospatial data and whatever else the problem requires
• Experiment with new technologies and turn ideas into production software
• Own problems end-to-end, from architecture through to deployment
• Help shape the engineering culture as the company grows What we're looking for
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Experience building production software
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and emerging technologies
• Experience with LLMs, agents or AI-powered products
• Strong in Python, Rust, C++, Java or similar
• Someone who thrives with ownership, ambiguity and learning quickly We're less interested in ticking technology boxes and more interested in what you've built, how you think and how excited you are to build something from scratch.
