AI Forward Deployed Engineer AI, Software Engineering & Digital Transformation Location: Belfast / Hybrid Working Salary: Up to £100,000 + Benefits Package About the Role We're supporting a rapidly growing AI practice delivering cutting-edge solutions across highly regulated and security-conscious environments. This is an opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working directly with customers, solving real-world problems and building production-grade AI solutions. Rather than operating at a distance, you'll embed closely with client teams, rapidly prototyping, iterating and deploying solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. You'll combine software engineering, AI and consulting skills to bridge the gap between business problems and technical delivery. What You'll Be Doing

• Working directly with clients to understand business objectives and technical challenges.
• Designing, building and deploying production-grade AI solutions.
• Rapidly prototyping and iterating solutions alongside end users.
• Translating business requirements into working software and scalable solutions.
• Developing applications using modern programming languages and cloud technologies.
• Working across the full solution lifecycle from discovery through to deployment and adoption.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, delivery teams and business stakeholders.
• Supporting AI, automation and intelligent workflow initiatives.
• Contributing reusable assets, frameworks and best practices to improve future delivery.
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing across teams. What We're Looking For
• Strong software engineering background with hands-on coding experience.
• Experience building and shipping production software solutions.
• Expertise in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or similar modern technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud platforms.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, cloud-native development and modern software delivery.
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI or Agentic AI technologies.
• Experience working directly with customers and business stakeholders.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Strong consulting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within regulated sectors such as Financial Services, Insurance, Government or Critical National Infrastructure would be advantageous. Why Join?
