Senior C# Engineer - Trading Systems - London

We are working with an established financial services organisation seeking an experienced Senior C#/.NET Software Engineer to join its growing engineering function in London. This is a hands-on technical role offering the opportunity to design, develop and enhance complex trading applications and business-critical systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering new technical initiatives, taking ownership of complex engineering challenges and contributing to architectural decisions. • Design and develop high-performance trading applications using C#/.NET.
• Build and enhance backend systems, APIs and business logic.
• Take ownership of technical projects from design through to delivery.
• Contribute to architecture, technical decisions and system improvements.
• Work closely with stakeholders and support other engineers.
• Explore opportunities to introduce AI and automation into engineering processes. Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with strong C#/.NET expertise.
• Strong backend development experience, including SQL, APIs and system design.
• Background in financial services, ideally trading systems or capital markets.
• Understanding of trading workflows, financial products or order management systems.
• Experience delivering complex technical projects and taking ownership of solutions.
