Service Designer

Service Designer – SC Cleared 📍 Fully Remote 💼 Outside IR35 📅 Contract – Start date TBC We're looking for an experienced SC CLEARED Service Designer with a strong background in government or public sector environments to support the design and improvement of user-centred services. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to understand user needs, map end-to-end services, identify pain points and develop practical solutions that improve service delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve end-to-end services across complex environments.
• Map current and future-state user journeys, service blueprints and processes.
• Conduct user research and use insights to inform service design decisions.
• Identify service gaps, pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with User Researchers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, Content Designers and technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to develop and validate service concepts.
• Ensure services are accessible, inclusive and focused on user needs.
• Support evidence-based decision-making and continuous service improvement. Key Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Service Designer within government or the public sector.
• Strong experience mapping end-to-end services, user journeys and service blueprints.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile teams.
• Ability to translate user needs and research findings into practical service improvements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Understanding of user-centred design principles and accessibility.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Contract Details
