Delivery Lead Scrum Master - Data Ingestion - ETRM -trading and Risk

Delivery Lead / Scrum Master – Data Ingestion | Trading & Risk Location: London – hybrid working Contract: Initial 6 months We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead / Scrum Master to support a large-scale data ingestion programme within a trading environment. You will enable a cross-functional team of Data Engineers, QA specialists and Business Analysts to deliver data from approximately 150–200 business applications into an enterprise data platform built on Azure and Databricks. You must bring experience in energy trading / ETRM or financial services trading and risk, alongside a strong understanding of data delivery programmes. Key responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery across data ingestion workstreams, helping teams plan, prioritise and deliver against programme objectives.
• Facilitate planning sessions, retrospectives, workshops and Scrum of Scrums, coordinating delivery across teams.
• Identify and resolve blockers, manage dependencies and make delivery risks visible to stakeholders.
• Coach teams in Scrum, Kanban and Lean practices, improving collaboration, feedback loops and delivery performance.
• Work closely with Product Owners, engineering leads and business stakeholders to align delivery with platform priorities.
• Use Jira reporting and delivery metrics to track progress, support decisions and drive continuous improvement. Required experience
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead within complex technology programmes.
• A background in energy trading / ETRM or financial services, with exposure to trading and risk processes. Knowledge of ETRM systems is required.
• Previous delivery experience involving data ingestion, data warehousing and data migration.
• Experience working with teams delivering on Azure and Databricks, including familiarity with Unity Catalog and Delta Sharing.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and dependencies.
• Understanding of engineering delivery practices, including testing, CI/CD and DevOps. Scrum Master or Agile coaching certifications would be advantageous.
