CQC Assurance Lead

Starfish Search are supporting a local authority in London on the appointment of an Interim CQC Assurance Lead within Adult Social Care. Key responsibilities

• Lead the CQC assurance programme, including self-assessment, inspection readiness and improvement planning.
• Support the delivery of a wider Adult Social Care transformation programme.
• Assess service performance, identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
• Establish effective governance arrangements and report progress to senior stakeholders.
• Work with senior leaders, frontline teams and external partners to drive service improvement and ensure high-quality Adult Social Care. About you
• Significant experience leading transformation, improvement or assurance programmes, ideally within local government Adult Social Care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC assurance frameworks and regulatory inspection preparation.
• Experience developing self-assessments, action plans and quality assurance frameworks.
• Good understanding of adult social care legislation, safeguarding and partnership working.
• Strong programme management, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills. Due to high application volumes, we may not be able to respond to every applicant individually.
