Dental Nurse - Maternity Cover

Aura Dental Centre is looking for a qualified dental nurse to join our friendly and professional team in St John's Wood, London. This is initially a six-month maternity-cover position, with the possibility of permanent employment depending on performance and the needs of the practice. The position is expected to begin in January 2027. However, we would ideally like the successful candidate to start slightly earlier to allow sufficient time for a smooth handover with our current nurse. Working hours Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 6:30pm Main responsibilities

• Providing chairside assistance across a full range of dental treatments
• Preparing the appropriate instruments and materials for each procedure
• Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control
• Taking digital scans using an intraoral scanner
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Managing and updating the clinic's stock and ordering list
• Supporting the clinical team and helping the practice run efficiently
• Requirements
• Qualified and GDC-registered dental nurse
• Good knowledge of dental treatments, instruments and materials
• Confident assisting with a broad range of procedures
• Familiarity with Dentally would be highly beneficial
• Experience using a digital scanner would be advantageous
• Organised, reliable and able to take responsibility for stock orders
