Do you have a passion for supporting young people and making a positive impact on their lives? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Young Futures Officer to join our housing team in Tunbridge Wells, West Kent ​to work directly with young people, supporting them to build confidence, gain life skills and move towards independent living.

The Young Futures Programme (YFP) is YMCA Thames Gateway Group's new accommodation and support service for children in care aged 16 & 17. The YFP provides support and guidance to help young people gain the skills and confidence to live independently. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the lives of these young people, supporting them to map out what they want their future to look like and then coaching them to achieve it.

We are passionate about providing opportunities to those who are most in need. We successfully adapt to the needs of the communities in which we're based - during the pandemic we were able to provide food hampers to families in need, childcare support to keyworkers, and stayed in touch with our senior citizens group who, for many, attending our social groups is a lifeline.

Summary of Job Profile:

• Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time
• Working Pattern: Rotating shift pattern Monday to Sunday 08:00 - 16:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 including one weekend in 5
