Assistant General Manager

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join a well-established Wine Bar & Restaurant in Central London.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys being hands-on and has a genuine interest in wine.

Working closely with the General Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the venue, lead the team from the floor and ensure a consistently high standard of service.

The Role:

Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the venue

Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team

Deliver excellent service and a great guest experience

Help drive sales and overall business performance

Support with recruitment, training and team development

Assist with stock control and operational standards

Build strong relationships with regular and new guests

About You:

Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Assistant Manager or strong Supervisor

Experience within a quality restaurant, wine bar or similar hospitality environment

A genuine interest in wine - good wine knowledge would be an advantage

Confident leading and motivating a team

Commercially aware and comfortable driving sales

Hands-on, personable and passionate about hospitality

The Package:

£32,500 basic salary

Share of tronc - OTE £45,000+ depending on location
