A medical degree (MD/DO or equivalent) with USMLE passed if relevant to your location

A clinical background in family medicine or internal medicine

Working knowledge of SNOMED CT and RxNorm

An understanding of semantics, ontologies and knowledge representation (graphs, trees, hierarchies)

Strong knowledge of drug therapy and indications

Ability to work independently on a part-time contract

Nice to have

Previous clinical informatics, medical content or terminology experience

Experience with drug reference tools or clinical decision support

Familiarity with ICD-10 and LOINC
