CLASS 2 HGV DRIVER - TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY - BURY

WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING CLASS 2 (CATEGORY C) HGV DRIVERS on behalf

of a well-established wholesaler based in Bury.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for reliable and

hardworking drivers looking for ongoing work with the potential to

secure a permanent position.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE INVOLVES APPROXIMATELY 25% DRIVING AND 75%

PICKING AND MANUAL HANDLING ON THE BACK OF THE TRUCK. It is not a

driving-only position.

THE ROLE

• Multi-drop deliveries to customers across the daily delivery

route.

• Approximately 25% driving and 75% picking and handling goods on

the back of the truck.

• Breaking down pallets and manually handling goods at delivery

points.

• Providing excellent customer service to customers.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Complying with road transport legislation and health and safety

regulations.

PAY RATE

£15.80 PER HOUR

START TIMES

Start times are between 04:00 AND 06:00, depending on the daily

delivery route.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Comfortable with manual handling, picking and pallet breakdown.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check, as this is a DBS client.
