About The Role

FDM is a global

business and technology consultancy seeking an Experienced Business Analyst to

join our Global Systems Integrator client. This is an exciting opportunity to

support a portfolio of business and technology initiatives, playing a key role

in both a critical identity and access management project and a broader

pipeline of strategic change programmes.

You will split your

time between supporting the transition from legacy multi-factor authentication

methods and contributing to feasibility assessments across a range of future

transformation initiatives. Working closely with technical teams, security stakeholders,

project managers, consultants, and business leaders, you will help ensure

requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into actionable

outcomes.

This is an excellent

opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys working across

multiple workstreams, engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, and bridging

the gap between business objectives and technical delivery.

About the Role

We are seeking a

Business Analyst with strong stakeholder management, requirements gathering,

and business change experience. Approximately 50% of the role will focus on a

multi-factor authentication (MFA) initiative, supporting the transition from

legacy authentication methods and helping identify business, technical, and

operational impacts.

The remaining 50% of

the role will involve supporting feasibility assessments across a portfolio of

upcoming projects. Working alongside senior consultants and delivery teams, you

will help evaluate opportunities, define requirements, assess business needs,

and support the development of future project business cases.

The role is highly

collaborative and will require engagement with both technical and non-technical

stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, analysing, and

documenting business and technical requirements

  • Supporting a multi-factor

authentication (MFA) project, including stakeholder engagement, impact

assessment, and requirements definition

  • Working closely with

security, infrastructure, and technical teams to understand authentication

and access management processes

  • Facilitating workshops,

meetings, and requirements gathering sessions

  • Producing high-quality

business analysis artefacts including process maps, requirements

documents, user stories, and functional specifications

  • Conducting feasibility

assessments for a range of upcoming business and technology initiatives

  • Supporting business case

development and options analysis activities

  • Identifying risks,

dependencies, assumptions, and opportunities across project workstreams

  • Collaborating with project

managers, consultants, architects, and delivery teams to support

successful project outcomes

  • Ensuring requirements are

clearly prioritised, validated, and aligned to business objectives

  • Providing regular updates and

insights to key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

About You

  • Proven experience working as

a Business Analyst within complex business or technology transformation

programmes

  • Strong requirements

gathering, analysis, and documentation skills

  • Experience facilitating

stakeholder workshops and requirements elicitation sessions

  • Demonstrable experience

producing business analysis artefacts including process maps, user

stories, business requirements documents, and gap analyses

  • Strong stakeholder management

and communication skills

  • Experience working across

both business and technical teams

  • Excellent analytical and

problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to manage multiple

priorities and workstreams simultaneously

  • Experience working within

Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments

  • Self-directed and

delivery-focused, able to work independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting

identity and access management (IAM) or multi-factor authentication (MFA)

initiatives

  • Experience working on cyber

security, infrastructure, or technology-related projects

  • Experience conducting

feasibility studies, discovery activities, or options appraisals

  • Consultancy or Global Systems

Integrator experience

  • Knowledge of business case

development and project initiation processes

  • Familiarity with

authentication technologies, security controls, or Microsoft identity

solutions

  • Relevant certifications such

as:

  • BCS Business Analysis
  • CBAP
  • AgileBA
  • PMI-PBA

Working Arrangements

  • Initial 6-month engagement
  • Predominantly remote working
  • Occasional travel to client

locations as required

  • Working closely with

consultants, technical teams, security stakeholders, and business leaders

  • Opportunity to contribute to

both strategic transformation initiatives and business-critical technology

projects

  • Strong potential for

extension based on project demand

  • No direct line management

responsibility

This role would suit

an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys working across both business and

technology domains, supporting complex change initiatives, and helping

organisations make informed decisions through effective analysis, stakeholder

engagement, and requirements management.
