Our client is seeking an experienced Senior PMO to support a large-scale enterprise technology transformation programme. The successful candidate will play a critical role in programme governance, financial oversight, delivery assurance, reporting, planning and stakeholder management across a significant portfolio of work with a budget of approximately £20M.

Working closely with programme leadership, technology teams, vendors and senior stakeholders, you will ensure robust controls, governance and programme visibility are in place to support successful delivery of a complex, multi-workstream transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain programme governance, reporting and assurance frameworks across a large-scale technology programme.
  • Manage and oversee integrated programme plans, milestones, dependencies and critical path activities
  • Drive programme reporting, producing high-quality updates for programme boards, steering committees and executive stakeholders.
  • Own RAID management processes, ensuring risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies are effectively tracked, managed and escalated.
  • Support budget management and financial governance across a programme with spend of approximately £20M, including forecasting, tracking and change control.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment across technology, business and third-party delivery teams.
  • Manage governance forums, programme reviews and decision-making processes.
  • Provide delivery assurance and challenge where required, ensuring programme standards and controls are consistently applied.
  • Work closely with systems integrators, software vendors and delivery partners to maintain programme visibility and accountability.
  • Support resource planning, capacity management and programme mobilisation activities.

About You

  • Proven experience operating as a Senior PMO within large-scale enterprise technology transformation programmes
  • Experience supporting programmes with budgets of £15M-£20M+, including financial tracking, forecasting and governance
  • Strong background in programme governance, reporting, planning, controls and delivery assurance
  • Demonstrable experience managing integrated plans, RAID processes and cross-workstream dependencies
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Experience working within complex environments involving multiple vendors, systems integrators and delivery partners
  • Strong understanding of programme lifecycle methodologies and enterprise delivery practices
  • Exceptional organisational, analytical and communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting ERP transformation programmes, particularly SAP environments
  • Background working on large-scale Enterprise Application, Digital Transformation or Technology Modernisation programmes
  • Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or other regulated environments
  • Exposure to PMO tooling such as Clarity, Planview, Jira, ServiceNow PPM, MS Project or similar enterprise portfolio management platforms
  • Relevant PMO, Project Management or Programme Management qualifications (P3O, MSP, Prince2, PMO Certified Practitioner or equivalent)
