Croydon is a big, diverse and exciting place to be. Following back-to-back good Ofsted ILACS, we are hungry to be better.
The Head of Service for Performance and Business Improvement is a pivotal role in the ongoing improvement of Croydon's Children's service, including social care, education, SEND, youth justice, early intervention, and prevention.
Through the oversight of our Helping Families Thrive programme, this role is key in supporting and championing our council wide improvement plans, making those things we do every day even better for our children and families across our brilliant borough.
The role is essential in developing and maintaining our focus on innovation and advancement across all the national children's system reforms, providing strategic support towards the end-to-end redesign, and structural and cultural integration of the directorate.
The role requires a skilled leader and influencer, who is bold and determined to strive for and drive improvement in outcomes for all children.
