Demi is an AI-native ecommerce company rethinking how brands grow online. We are looking for a Technical Co-Founder to build this from zero. You will own the entire technical direction—architecture, infrastructure, and product delivery—partnering with a commercially-driven co-founder to disrupt legacy ecommerce systems using agentic AI and advanced automation. • Lead the end-to-end development of the core product, making critical architectural decisions and shipping high-quality code in a fast-paced, pre-product environment.
• Architect and implement AI-native workflows, agentic systems, and data infrastructure that provide a competitive edge over legacy ecommerce platforms.
• Scale the company from a two-person team to a high-performance engineering organization, setting the technical culture and hiring future engineering talent. The ideal candidate
• Exceptional backend engineering professional with a proven track record of shipping complex, successful products in ecommerce, AI/ML, or marketplace environments.
• Demonstrates a builder mentality with high agency, comfortable taking intelligent risks and iterating rapidly based on direct customer feedback.
