Manufacturing Team Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing Location: South Molton, Devon About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for a Manufacturing Team Manager to join a leading aerospace engineering business specialising in precision-engineered aerospace components. This role is suited to an experienced manufacturing or operations professional with strong leadership skills and a background in continuous improvement. You will oversee production activities within a defined manufacturing area, ensuring operational targets are achieved while promoting high standards of quality, safety and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing teams to achieve production, productivity, quality, delivery and safety targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Coach and develop employees, encouraging engagement, accountability and a high-performance team culture.
• Monitor operational performance, manage resources and support improvements across manufacturing processes, facilities and workplace safety. Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 3–5 years' experience in manufacturing or operations and 1–3 years' experience leading teams.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques, including 6S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and Visual Management.
• Experience using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D or A3.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching and organisational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
