Group Accountant Global Travel & Leisure Business Central London - hybrid 2 days office / 3 wfh pw Up to £60,000 + great benefits We're partnering with an exciting and leading travel & leisure business in London, who are looking for a technically strong and personable accountant. The Group Accountant will oversee group financial reporting, statutory compliance and IFRS reporting, while strengthening financial controls and supporting ongoing business transformation. • Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure statutory accounts and financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and investigate financial variances.
• Support external audits and respond to audit queries.
• Prepare technical accounting assessments and support regulatory reporting.
• Strengthen financial controls and identify opportunities to improve reporting processes.
• Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines. Skills and Experience
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA).
• Accountancy Practice trained.
• Experience in group reporting, audit and statutory accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and time-management skills.
