Senior Data Analyst

📍 London | 3 Days in Office 💰 Up to £70,000 Base + Bonus + Excellent Benefits 🏢 Hybrid Working - Three days a week in office, Central London We're working with a highly respected investment management business that sits at the forefront of the Energy & Commodities sector. They are looking to hire a Data Analyst to join their growing Data Centre of Excellence, working alongside specialists across Data Analytics, Data Architecture, Data Intelligence and Machine Learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst with experience in Financial Services, Trading, Commodities, Energy Trading, Risk, Compliance or Regulatory environments who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business insight. What You'll Be Doing

• Analyse how Risk and Compliance data is sourced, flows through the organisation, and is utilised by the business
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and bridge the gap between business teams and technical specialists
• Support the migration from a legacy data warehouse to a strategic enterprise data platform
• Analyse structured, semi-structured and transactional datasets to drive business decision-making
• Design and develop analytical and reporting data models
• Create insights and visualisations that support investment, risk and compliance functions
• Contribute to data governance, quality assurance and data optimisation initiatives What They're Looking For
• Experience in Data Analysis within Financial Services, Trading, Commodities or Energy environments would be a plus
• Experience with Power BI dashboard development and BI modelling
• Strong SQL Server skills
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytical data structures
